Bird Conservancy of the Rockies' day camps are the perfect introduction to science and nature for younger kids. With a small staff-to-camper ratio, our Day Camps foster a positive learning environment through hikes, games, crafts, and outdoor play. For campers ages 10-12, we offer Progressive Camps, which allow campers to explore the different ecosystems of Barr Lake in depth. All Day Camps take place at Bird Conservancy’s Environmental Learning Center in Brighton, CO, and are led by a team of professional environmental educators.
Our overnight camps offer a welcoming learning environment for kids who have aged out of our Day Camps, as well as pre-teens and teens who are new to Bird Conservancy’s programs. Overnight camps focus on honing campers observational and birding skills, learning from professionals in the field of ornithology, exploring the ecology of the Rocky Mountains, and much more! Overnight camps are located in Jamestown, CO and are led by a team of professional environmental educators.
